If animal strikes are a concern, the Bumper Grille Guard from Throttle Down Kustoms can be a great option for your rig. It is our burliest bumper, with more tubular steel protection for the grille and headlights than any other bumper we make. Like our other bumpers, it is made from US-sourced PNO steel. The design of this Bumper with Grille Guard also makes it easy to add LED lighting.
Optional LED Lights
If you’re adding upgraded protection to your vehicle, why not add extra lighting? LED lights are a cool addition to any bumper. They look great and help increase your visibility, even in the worst conditions. LEDs that are integrated into the bumper design are also better protected from damage, compared to stand-alone lights.
The Bumper Grille Guard has three horizontal bars in front. Any of them can be used to mount a light bar. This bumper also allows you to choose between zero, one, or two sets of light holes to mount cube lights. You can install your own lighting, or we can provide LED lights for you.
Customizing Your Bumper Grille Guard
All of our bumpers are highly customizable to meet your needs. We are happy to help you get the perfect bumper for your truck. The Bumper Grille Guard offers a lot of options:
- Parking Sensors – We’ll add holes for parking sensors with this option. Your OEM sensors will press fit into the holes.
- Adaptive Cruise Control – If you’ve got ACC, we add a hole to mount the sensor.
- Light Holes – These are for cube lights. Choose between zero, one, or two sets of recessed holes.
- Front Receiver – You can have a front receiver hitch mounted behind the license plate or just above it.
- Powder Coating – Whether you want your bumper to stand out or blend in, we’ve got several powder coating options to choose from. You can get powder coating applied in black, gloss black, matte black, bright white, Bengal silver, or silver vein. If you prefer to paint your bumper to match your truck, we can ship it in bare steel, ready to paint.
- Engine Block Heater – We can add a mount for the block heater plug.
On top of all those options, all our bumpers come standard with clevis mounts. The clevis mounts are made from 3/4″ steel and have a 7/8″ hole to fit standard shackles. All our bumpers are cut from US steel with a CNC laser to ensure a proper fit every time. Our high-quality steel is fabricated by our certified welders.
