If you’re looking for a bumper that offers more protection but doesn’t add an excessive amount of weight to the front end of your vehicle, the Push Bar bumper from Throttle Down Kustoms is an excellent choice. The Push Bar bumper protects from collisions, debris, and anything else on the roads and the trails. It also adds a cross-member to help protect the grille without adding too much weight. And you can use the Push Bar to push vehicles, farm implements, obstacles, etc. (If you’d like to learn more about the benefits of steel bumpers, check out this blog post.) The Push Bar bumper is highly customizable to fit your needs.
Push Bar Lighting Options
LED lighting is a custom bumper option you don’t want to miss out on, and adding lighting cutouts to your Push Bar bumper are well worth the upgrade. LEDs are helpful for many reasons:
- The ability to see and be seen. Don’t take chances on dark rural roads or in foggy weather – ensure that you are visible and can see well enough to navigate safely.
- A custom look. LED lights are an eye-catching addition – especially when they’re so seamlessly integrated into the design of your bumper.
- Off-road safety. Chances are if you’re installing a Push Bar bumper, you like to spend time off-road. You need durable, dependable lights to get in and out of the woods safely.
The Push Bar Bumper offers several lighting options. You can choose zero, one, or two sets of cutouts in the bumper to mount LED cube lights. The push bar itself is also a good mounting point for an LED light bar. Cube lights make great fog lights and help off-road at night too. As well as adding a bit of style.
Custom Options For The Push Bar Bumper
In addition to cube light cutouts, there are many other options available for the Push Bar Bumper:
- Parking Sensors – you can order the bumper with or without parking sensor holes. If you have factory parking sensors, these will mount in the holes.
- Adaptive Cruise Control – If your truck has Adaptive Cruise Control, this bumper has an optional hole that will accommodate the sensor.
- Receiver Hitch – This bumper has two optional mounting locations if you’d like a front-mounted receiver hitch. One option is to flush mount the hitch behind the license plate. The other option is to mount it visibly above the license plate.
- Winch Mount – You can also add a cutout for a front-mounted winch.
- Powder Coating – Whether you want your bumper to stand out or blend in, we’ve got several powder coating options to choose from. You can get powder coating applied in black, gloss black, matte black, bright white, Bengal silver, or silver vein. And, if you want to paint your bumper to match your truck, we can ship it in bare steel, ready to paint.
As you can see, there are many ways to make your bumper unique. One feature that comes standard on every Push Bar Bumper is clevis mounts. These are made from 3/4″ steel and have a standard 7/8″ hole for the clevis. These mounts make it much easier and safer to recover your truck if you get stuck. This bumper is also designed to be more than strong enough to mount a winch. To learn more about how we design our bumpers to support winch mounting, check out this post.
