Better Back-Up Lights
One customization we often see is added LED lighting in the rear bumper. OEM backup lights are notorious for providing very little usable light. Backing up a long bed truck or a trailer can be a headache. Ample lighting can make trailering and parking easier.
Our rear bumpers offer the option of adding cut outs to accommodate LED cube lights that are much superior. They offer more illumination for a work area, or hooking up a trailer, or just backing up.
Rear Bumper Options And Upgrades
In addition to LED light mounting holes, TDK rear bumpers also offer these options:
- Clevis Mounts – Our clevis mounts are made from 3/4″ steel, and have 7/8″ holes. Consider these if you go off-road often.
- Parking Sensors – Rear bumpers can have holes laser cut for parking sensors. Your OEM parking sensors will fit precisely.
- Rear Cross Traffic Sensors – If your truck has rear cross-traffic sensors, holes for these can be laser cut when we make your bumper.
- Side Steps – Side steps in the corners of the rear bumper are especially useful if your truck is lifted. Side steps make loading and unloading your truck bed easier.
- Powder Coating – Whether you want your bumper to stand out or blend in, we’ve got several powder coating options to choose from. You can get powder coating applied in black, gloss black, matte black, bright white, Bengal silver, or silver vein. And, if you want to paint your bumper to match your truck, we can ship it in bare steel, ready to paint.
