Description
Jeep released the JK/JKU Wrangler in 2007, following the success of the popular TJ. The JK features a larger frame, longer wheelbase and wider track width than the TJ series. The JK was also offered in the ‘Unlimited’ (JKU) 4-door version and saw over 2.1 million made over its 12 years of production. Your JKU Jeep Wrangler build can be made new again with this steel frame from TDK.
Since the release of the JK/JKU, off-road and 4×4 enthusiasts have been seeking full replacement frame options. TDK offers the strongest frame on the market available to JK/JKU owners.
TDK JK/JKU FRAME MANUFACTURING PROCESS
With the stouter frame and addition of multiple crossmembers, this frame has a lot more going on than its predecessor. Key features of JK/JKU Throttle Down Kustoms frames:
- Constructed for 2″ x 5″ x 3/16″ frame rail center sections, with mandrel bent 2″ x 4″ x 3/16″ front and rear frame rail sections welded together.
- Identical frame dimensions to your factory frame while being immensely stronger.
- Fabricated front and rear crossmembers, transmission crossmembers, and gas tank crossmembers join these 2 frame rails together, making 2 frame rails into 1 complete frame.
- All crossmembers, body mounts, shock mounts, coil buckets, suspension-link mounts, bumpers mounts, track bar mounts, steering box mount, and motor mounts are made from laser cut 3/16″ steel plate.
- CNC mandrel bent frame for better than OEM precision.
- MIG-welded and handcrafted by our professional frame fabricators in Montana to create the strongest stock replacement JK/JKU frame on the market.

IMPORTANT NOTES
Exhaust Modification: Modification of the exhaust may be required for proper fitment and performance.
Brake/Fuel Lines: Additional brake line and fuel line mounting holes may be required for proper fitment and performance. This can be accomplished by simply drilling a 1/4″ hole and tapping it to 5/16″ in the desired position on the frame.
Aftermarket Fitment: If you are building a custom JK/JKU, odds are you plan to install other aftermarket parts. While most aftermarket products should fit and have no issues, TDK cannot guarantee fitment of any aftermarket products on our frame. This frame is based off factory measurements and factory parts. Throttle Down Kustoms holds no responsibility in the fitment of parts from other manufacturers.
