Looking to replace your 1981-1986 CJ8 Frame but want it designed for Extreme Rock Crawling and Mild Pre-Running? Look no further! Throttle Down Kustoms is now offering The Helix Frame, which features Long Arm Suspension, Coilovers on all four corners that will provide 12″ of travel Front and Rear, and clears 37″ tires with no fender modifications!

Helix Frame Manufacturing Process:

-Frame is CNC Mandrel Bent using 2″x4″ Rectangular wall A500 Tubing.
-All Brackets are CNC Laser Cut using 3/16″ and 1/4″ PNO Steel Plate.
-The Frame and all Brackets are Hand Welded in Moore, MT.

Helix Frame is Set Up For:

-GM LS Powerplant.
-GM 4L80E Transmission.
-Atlas Driver Drop Transfer Case.

-Coilover Shock Mounts Front and Rear.
-Front 3-Link Long Arm Suspension Mounts.
-Bump Stop Mounts.
-Front Track Bar Mount.
-Steering Box Mount.
-Grille Mount.
-Rock Sliding Body Mounts.
-Rear Triangulated 4-Link Long Arm Suspension Mounts.
-Removable 3-16″ Steel Skid Plate.

The Helix Frame is Designed to Accommodate Long Arm Suspension ONLY.
Frame is Setup for Atlas Drive Drop Transfer Case.
Frame is Setup for GM LS Powerplant ONLY. If different Powerplant is desired it will be built with NO MOTOR MOUNTS.
Will Clear 37″ Tires with No Fender Modifications. Can Clear 40″ Tires with Modifications of the Fenders.
Recommended Axle Width is 70″ Bolt Face to Bolt Face.
Will work best with 4 3/4″ Back Spacing on Wheels. Other Back Spacing MAY or MAY NOT work.
